These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://designingdots.in and any services provided by Designing Dots Innovations Private Limited (operating as Designing Dots and in certain contexts as The Media Hous) (referred to as "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing the website, using our services, or engaging with our team you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Definitions
- Services: All creative, branding, design, content, media production, consultancy and related offerings by Designing Dots.
- User / You: Any person or entity who visits the website or uses our services.
- Content: Text, images, designs, videos, source files, deliverables and other materials we create or host.
2. Use of Services
You agree to use our website and services lawfully and in good faith. You may not use the Services to infringe third-party rights, upload malware, transmit illegal content, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the website. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property & Deliverables
All materials, drafts, templates, and creative assets produced by Designing Dots are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we retain ownership of pre-existing materials, proprietary tools, templates and design systems used to produce your deliverables. Upon full payment and as set out in the project agreement, clients receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use final deliverables for the agreed purposes.
4. Client Materials & Representations
You warrant that any materials you provide (photos, logos, copy, trademarks) do not violate third-party rights and that you have the authority to grant us permission to use them. You agree to provide timely feedback and approvals to enable project delivery within agreed timelines.
5. Payment, Quotes & Refunds
Project fees, deposits, payment schedules and milestone terms are set out in separate proposals or contracts. Work may be paused if payments are overdue. Refunds are limited and handled on a case-by-case basis; generally, once work has commenced, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Confidentiality
We will treat client information shared for project purposes as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required to perform the Services (e.g., trusted vendors or subcontractors) or as required by law. Clients should mark any sensitive materials and clearly indicate confidentiality expectations in project agreements.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Designing Dots’ liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Services is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement as set out in the project agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website or Services for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or non-payment.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated to clients. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Additional Provisions
Brand Identity note: “The Media Hous” is a creative branding identity operating under Designing Dots Innovations Private Limited. Any prior agreements, obligations or assets transitioned from Piotech INDIA have been migrated in accordance with respective agreements. Career opportunities and staffing for The Media Hous are managed by The Media Hous team.
